6500 Yard Parkland Course
The Architect employed to design Waterstock golf course was Donald Steel M.A., a former international golfer and the first architect to have undertaken major work at St. Andrews for more than 50 years. As well as designing the Jubilee Course in 1987, Donald Steel was also responsible for work completed on the Eden Course in 1988.
His unique combination of professional skills and personal interest has ensured that the 6,500 yard, Par 72 Waterstock Course is both sympathetic and challenging to players of all standards.
Waterstock is a parkland course that has matured nicely over recent years with mature trees adding to the great course design. Notable holes are the 4th and 10th, both sweeping dog leg par 5’s with the par 3 14th, measuring only 124 yards, having a large bunker which bends around the front of the green and a steep bunker to the left.
